🧭 Leadership

Beyond research, I actively engage in scientific leadership, editorial work, and professional governance.

I currently serve as Editor of Nonlinear Dynamics, Associate Editor of the Journal of Vibration and Acoustics (ASME) and the Journal of Vibration Engineering & Technologies (Springer Nature), and previously served as an Affiliated Editor of PLOS ONE.

I am also a Board Member of the International Society of Nonlinear Dynamics (NoDyS) based in Rome (Italy), where I serve as the only elected representative from the Southern Hemisphere, and Second Secretary of the Brazilian Association for Computational Methods in Engineering (ABMEC).

Previously, I served on the Council of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering (ABCM), including a term as Executive Secretary of its Committee on Nonlinear and Chaotic Phenomena. I also served as Coordinator of the Dynamics, Control and Applications Committee of the Brazilian Society of Computational and Applied Mathematics (SBMAC).
